We stayed in West Cottage. Surprisingly spacious and light for a cottage. Very clean and well presented with a well equipped kitchen.Beautiful views from the bedroom windows.The cottage has its own private garden with table and chairs. We booked this cottage because it is only one hours drive to Edinburgh and easy access to the coast, on arrival we discovered that it is surrounded by beautiful countryside. What more can you ask for? Countryside, city and coast, all in one holiday. A word about Sue - she is very friendly and welcoming and she bakes great buns. We hope to be back some day.

A truly relaxing, well equipped, clean and beautiful cottage located in beautiful surroundings. Yet sgain we had a most wonderful holiday, Corrine and Ian are tops and I shall be looking shortly when we can yet again enjoy this out of this world place. So pleased to have found the Yethouse on VisitScotland website. It is truly a hidden gem with all the rooms so much bigger than the photos suggest. We had a fantastic 4 night break enjoying the delights of the house and area. We enjoyed starlight walks, scenic drives, open fires in the evening and peace and tranquility.There was plenty of room for each of us to find our own space or enjoy playing boardgames together in the evenings. In fact we cannot wait to go back for another visit, or better still move in !!! It was just perfect!

Excellent cottage with beautiful views and lovely garden. Yvette made us very welcome and was there all week if needed. We stayed in Begrum with our 2 dogs. There was plenty of room and the cottage has everything you need. Breakfast in the conservatory watching the birds on the feeders outside. Perfect location for all the border towns. Love Kelso, an unspoiled market town. Lovely meal at The Contented Vine.

What an amazing stay! We thoroughly enjoyed our break to the Bothy B n B. We were very warmly welcomed and were very happy with the standard of the accommodation. We were quite surprised at the amount of space we had to ourselves! Sitting out on the patio overlooking the lovely garden was wonderful. We have already recommended the Bothy B n B to friends and colleagues – we certainly plan on returning too!

“The house is stunning – so comfortable and beautiful. Attention to detail fantastic, bedrooms & bathrooms gorgeous – we all loved the fire in the sitting room. Dining room perfect and breakfast room cheerful. Kitchen and everywhere so well equipped. We came here to celebrate my 60th birthday and cannot fault anything. WONDERFUL!
