| Cottage Review:
What a nice place to use as a base for discovering the Scottish borders. We stayed for a week in Rose Cottage with the 2 kids and the dog. Whilst this is a cottage, there is still plenty of space to spread out, and relax. Central to loads of local sights and close enough to the arterial roads to go a little further, you'll not go wrong here. With current virus restrictions, the owners keep away, but that's no bad thing - if you need them they are so willing to help, and just reading the visitors book you can see how helpful they are in "normal" circumstance |

Great place to stay. Kelso, Hawick, Melrose and Galashiels just a drive away. The village of Lilliesleaf is a nice walk for those that like to walk. A short drive for those who don't. Will be returning as it is a lovely place to stay. |
