| Cottage Review:
A lovely little cottage in a delightfully quiet hamlet. If you want total peace and quiet and don?t mind being off the grid whilst in the cottage, it?s ideal. The surrounding hills were great for walking our two dachshunds and the small garden was nice to chill in during the early evening. The living room and bedroom were a good size but the kitchen just big enough for one person. The fridge is very small but we just about fitted our food in there for the 3 days. ( would not be big enough if we wanted to stay longer as we cook our own meals rather than eat out with the dogs). The staircase steps are very deep and there is no grab rail in the bath/shower, and although not a major problem for us, I think it should be made clear when advertising for anyone with mobility issues. All in all, we had a lovely, relaxing 3 days and would definitely go back for a short stay break. |

Had a fantastic relaxing time at Kirk cottage.Stunning views and great walks .The cottage was beautifully clean and cozy with an amazing power shower. Chris and Jayne were on hand if we needed anything very attentive. Although the reception for the phone is poor in the hamlet as soon as you walk up to the village hall which is 50 yards away it was fine. Will definitely return! |

Excellent 1 bedroom cottage in beautiful area. I stayed in there in the hot summer of 2018 but I'm sure it would be lovely at any time of the year! Many thanks Jayne and Chris. |
