Cottage Review:
After 3 days here we found a large live slug crawling on the carpet. This prompted us to make a close inspection of the property and it was filthy. Cobwebs and dead insects in almost every window, dust so thick you could write in it and dead and live insects in the bathroom and bedroom. Gross is an understatement. Would not stay here again if you paid me. Will be seeing them soon in the small claims court. |

Cottage Review:
We was given 2 numbers to ring to find out we're we was to collect the key from, after a 4 hour drive we called both numbers and both went into answer phone. We arrived at a very large old house with property all over the place, we wasn't comfortable just wondering around so we sat in the car a piped the horn, still nothing thier was no one around. Although Liz the owner did apologise it still can't change our experience. The cottage itself is really lovely and very peaceful. |

Cottage Review:
Our holiday was ruined because after travelled 300 miles to get to the house there was no key. We coukd hear our alls ringing in the office. The owners made no provision for calls to be transferred whilst they were off site - how incompetent. They wrre not at all apologetic and tried to put the blame on us. We went to the village to ask around but after waiting 2 hours and making 8 calls had no choice but to find a hotel. It was late at night by this point. The owners are still refusing us a refund. We feel very aggrieved and find their attitude incomprehensible. We are good honest people who just wanted a short break after visiting my 99 year old grandmother in hospital. They have no regard for their guests. Stay away from here. |

Cottage Review:
The Coach House is a ground floor 1 bed flat in an old coach house for a stately home demolished in the 1920s. It's a very attractive, quiet place, in a secluded part of the world. We've stayed there a couple of times for short quiet breaks, and love it. Short distance from the Lammermuir and Cheviot Hills, and also some very nice coastline and beaches. The village also has a very good pub for food. We'll definitely be back! |

Cottage Review:
We thoroughly enjoyed our time in the Coach House. There was a cake awaiting our arrival! The owners were very helpful when a small problem arose and were on to fixing it straight away. The house is in a very quiet area with lovely surroundings. The coast is not too far away with lovely beaches and walks. We loved being there and enjoying the quietness. |
