We had a truly wonderful week at Bird?s Nest Cottage. As soon as we arrived, we felt at home. The cottage was beautifully presented, comfortable, cosy and immaculately clean. Wendy, the owner, had thought of everything we could possibly need from a holiday cottage; there was also lots of storage space and parking. We discovered a welcome pack, which was a lovely touch, and even included wine and chocolates! Wendy popped down to check we had everything we needed and made us feel very welcome. Just spent a week in Birds Nest cottage...It's on a working farm, but very private, Wendy & Willie are perfect host, nothing too much trouble for them. The cottage is stunning as are the views around the cottage.There is everything and more that you need. I would recommend a stay here. We are definitely coming back, we fell in love with the place. It's ideal for going places to visit. Jedburgh Abbey is lovely, can get a train into Edinburgh, lovely gardens to walk round, nearby.
