A lovely quirky old building, was tea rooms 50 years ago when I had my wedding reception there. It has been lovingly restored by the very friendly owner Bobb. Yes it is next to a busy road but that paled into the background and ceased to be noticed, I took my breakfast out to eat by the river with the ducks each morning and thoroughly enjoyed it, and my dog was quite safe to join me unleashed. There was plenty there to keep kids amused. If you want sleek and modern this is not for you, but if you like old and quirky this is fantastic

Corfe View is ideally situated for Poole Quay facilities and the comings of goings of boats is endlessly entertaining. There are wonderful 180 degree views and sunshine (when it does!) from morning until evening. We chose the property as we were holidaying in February and wanted good views in case we were housebound during poor weather. The bus connections are wonderful. The circular bus goes right by the property and minutes later you can catch a bus to many Dorset towns. The old town is 10 mins walk away. Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra plays once a week at the Arts Centre - wonderful! [Added at Editor's discretion since it appears to be a helpful review and the reviewer has been authenticated]

Very confortable location,fantastic views,when you wake up in the morning you can see the sea...really beautiful!The house is very confortable,with a nice modern equipment and its very quiet.We spent a exellent time!We recommend it!Thank you!

Most well equipped cottage I have ever stayed in, little things like soap, sandwich bags and cling film were all provided. The cottage was perfect for dogs and we saw badgers, foxes, barn owls, deers and bats from the garden. Lovely peaceful location, would recommend Bakers Mill, was sad to leave.

Fabulous peaceful setting within easy access of plenty of things to do. First impression was how spotlessly clean and spacious The Cobb is. A welcome set tea tray with a home made Dorset apple cake to welcome us was a lovely touch. Couldn't fault this cottage. Extremely well equipped, over and above any other self catering accommodation we have stayed at. Despite being dog friendly you would not know - the cottage was so clean and in good repair. Ideal for dog and non dog owners alike. The information folder provided was extremely comprehensive giving you every possible bit of information you would ever be likely to need, from local walks, dog friendly pubs and beaches, places of interest, nearest garage, doctor, vet and local history etc. Cannot recommend Bakers Mill enough.

Spacious comfortable well equipped cottage in attractive village with good facilities. The only thing it lacked was a quiet outside space where one could sit and enjoy the beautiful weather we experienced. Unfortunately, the cliff path and Burton beach were closed at the time of our visit, following a rock fall, but there is superb clifftop walking a few miles away at Seatown and the best pub grub with a view to enjoy at the Anchor Inn.

This cottage was truly lovely. Far better than we had imagined it would be! The property is clean and well cared for and caters very well for dog owners like ourselves.
As long as fields with livestock were avoided, we were able to walk our dogs wherever we wished on the farm.
It is a working farm and you must expect some noise ( but very little actually) dependant on the season and some farm smells.
There is a good games room on site and the excellent Admiral Hood in Mosterton, around 5 mins drive away, along with a very good village shop selling wonderful sausages, bacon and ham!
The cottage is fully equipped and, if you need anything, the owners are quick to respond.
Not only would we be happy to return - we can hardly wait!
