Unlike other reviews which were posted some time ago, my review is more up to date.The cottage is in a beautiful location,lots of wildlife birds squirrels etc. The bedrooms are well furnished and the bedding top rate. The bathroom well fitted and the linen very good.On our arrival, we were cold and found no logs or kindling for the fire ,and 2 of the old electric heaters not working.The lights in the kitchen and lounge not working, just told to press a button on the phone for help,problem phone not working. Managed with help of next door people to correct the fault. My wife had taken a chicken to cook but the fan oven not working. top oven too small for chicken, so cooked next door.The freezer was last defrosted in the last ice age.The holiday was meant to be a relaxation, we now need another break. We have written to the owners to complain but they have seen fit to ignore us. So if you are going to this cottage, the best of luck.

Peaceful cottage in rural Yorkshire Dales, with red squirrels as frequent visitors. Well equipped and comfortable. Great garden for sitting out, and pleasant stream. Lots to do in the area. Particularly suitable for dog owners.

This cottage was just perfect for our needs. There was my husband & myself, my daughter & Son in law & 2 Grandchildren ages 3 & 6 months. it is a 3 bed cottage with a large loungs, dining room & big kitchen which was fully equiped with everything that you would need. there was also a downstairs toilet & utility room which was very handy. upstairs there are 3 good bedrooms and everyone in the party said how comfortable all the beds were. all in all it was one of the better property's that we have stayed in and value for money

As soon as we entered Bewerley Hall Cottage we felt at home, the lamps were lit & the CD was playing.As we arrived late we did not meet Sarah but there were helpful notes to make sure we got the best out of the cottage. The kitchen is so well stocked with every utensil you need to make lovely meals with produce bought from nearby Pately Bridge, what a fantastic little town that is. As the evenings were cold we didn't eat out but stayed in and cosied up in front of the very efficient woodburner in the evenings (ample logs & kindling) listening to CD's & reading
Breakfast was a treat in the dining room again with radio & CD player.The bathroom was large & warm & the bedroom very well appointed with a very comfortable bed.Everywhere spotless & comfortable.
Luna, our dog appreciated the treats & full water bowl, & we appreciated the wine, cake,coffee, tea & milk.We visited many interesting places & had super walks both locally & further afield, although you don't have to go far to get a diversity of things to do.We found the locals very smiley & chatty.
The cottage was all we had hoped for & more!
We look forward to a return visit.

We stayed for a short break for 4 nights to celebrate my hubbys 50th birthday. Very efficient booking and payment system with the bonus of an offer of 4 nights for the price of 3!
Welcomed by Karen on arrival who explained how everything worked and offered great suggestions for dog walking in the area.
Fantastic cream tea on arrival was a great start to a relaxing few days.
Well equipped cottage in every way, down to the books, toys and dvds on offer to keep children and adults amused!!
Bed very comfortable and huge with super warm quilt.
Log burner was very efficient although we used all the logs by our 3rd night a phone call to Karen and a fresh supply was delivered for our last evening. A perfect place to stay for relaxing or exploring the beautiful countryside around. Hackfall woods a real gem but very muddy in November! Coldstone Cuts sculpture at Pately Bridge gives stunning panoramic views of Nidderdale. All the pubs are very welcoming to dogs, all offer excellent food at reasonable prices. Good local shops include butcher, baker and greengrocer. Road busy with farm traffic and lorries in late afternoon early evening but very quiet through the night. All in all a gem of a cottage in a beautiful friendly part of the world. We would highly recommend staying here.

Fantastic cottage in beautiful location. This accommodation provided us with everything we could possibly need. Had a really wonderful relaxing weekend with our children and grandchildren. Do yourself a favour and book it now.
