Our second stay in this fantastic holiday accommodation. It really does have everything you could possibly wish for to make for a perfect break away in the Highlands. We have never stayed anywhere better and would have no hesitation in recommending it to others. We very much hope to be able to stay there again in the not too distant future.

The foresters lodge is a total haven! It is so peaceful and the scenery is breath taking. So much wildlife to see and if you like walking/cycling then this place is for you. Owners marl and Amy are so lovely and very helpful always on hand if required

My wife and I stayed at The Folly.We were very impressed by the views. The interior was light and airy. Fixtures and fittings were of the highest quality. The beautifully constructed wood interior created a warm and cosy atmosphere. This was further enhanced by a lovely easy-to-use log burning fire. Lois and Richard ( the owners ) are always very helpful and informative. Needless to say we have already booked The Folly for a week in 2013!

Set in the beautiful village of Glenelg, this is a wonderful little house, fully appointed with all you need - wifi, washing, tv, etc. My family has visited here some 7-8 times over the last 15 years and had a wonderful time on every visit. There's much to see close by and the hospital Glenelg Inn is just down the hill. We always say this place is weather-neutral. You can walk and see things whatever the weather, and you always get at least a couple of sunny days.

We stayed at Alex's cottage, and he never ceased to amaze us with his calm, soothing wonderfully-welcoming Highland greeting and ever-warm hospitality.
His home-from-home cottage was impeccably clean, cosy and ready for our care-free, get-away-from-it-all holiday in Wester Ross, an area of true outstanding natural beauty, yet an easy stroll to the village of Poolewe itself.
We love the area and all that Scottish nature can throw at us. And there is plenty to explore and discover: A wealth of wildlife (a haven for twitchers), rambling in the hills, beach-combing, visiting some of the historical sites, ambling around the world-famous Poolewe Gardens, and visiting some rather lovely restaurants or cafes (offering the freshest sea-food you could wish for).
Croft Cottage is the perfect hide-away: Sit outside to enjoy the stunning views of Loch Maree and the surrounding mountains.
This place is piece of Scottish Heaven, Alex the perfect gentleman and host.

All we can say is WOW!We just come back from four wonderful days in this lovely little cottage! Everything was perfect, from the comfy beds to the glorious scenery. The area is minutes away from Glencoe and beautiful Glen Etive. YET it is also a great base for touring further afield to Oban, Fort William, Helensburg,Loch Lomond and Loch Awe. Also drive up to Loch Ness and Inverness,or over to Stirling. Gorgeous scenery is everywhere. We can also recommend the wonderful craft shop, 'Crafts and Things', which is just up the road from the cottage. Please go in the coffee bar there and don't forget to try the apple pie! Gorgeous views over the sleepy loch,mist kissing the sea and cuddling the mountains. We woke up to that every morning. Romantic? You betcha! Super warm cottage, fully fitted kitchen and I loved the fact that I could put a wash on! Look out of the bathroom every morning, and see a mountain with even a little waterfall right at the top! What more could we ask, and so reasonably priced too! It's the best holiday We've ever had. Book it! Plenty to do whatever the time of year. Rain doesn't spoil this kind of scenery-the sky has a bright hue whatever the weather. There's a big file of things to do to peruse as soon as you arrive! The owner is really helpful too and sends lots of information to you on booking. Go to Glen Etive, we've had close encounters with beautiful deer and other wildlife, and the scenery is indescribably beautiful.Just amazing. Altogether a completely wonderful experience! We returned home relaxed and refreshed. We will definitely be booking this delightful cottage again!

A dogs welcome self catering cottage in Newtonmore, sleeps up to 6 persons with 2 bedrooms. Excellent for family holidays with your dog, also does not provide broadband and find reviews and information here.

What a fantastic holiday. Killin never disappoints. This is our 5th New Year in Killin but what fantastic snow. The local golf club lets you use the golf course for sledging etc.with a cup of mulled wine ontop of the slope what more can you ask. Glengarry was great and we have already requested to return next year (fingers crossed).Whilst doing this review they have confirmed we can have the booking. GREAT. Looking forward to it already. Fantastic place , great friendly people, pubs hotels etc give a warm welcome, go anytime for a great holiday .

We've been holidaying at Ach na Skia for several years now, and every time we've loved it more. The view from our window is inspirational, and the light on the landscape is stunning. On a clear night the sky is a mass of stars! There are golden beaches to explore, wonderful walks to enjoy,and the trips to the Small Isles of Rhum, Eigg and Muck are a 'must' on the 'Sheerwater', which will take diversions on the crossings to view a wide selection of wildlife, from minke whales to otters, dolphins and seals. The birdlife is amazing - we even saw a Golden Eagle on Eigg! The owners, Sheila and Mike are so friendly and very helpful, and the log cabins are clean and comfortable. It's a real home from home on the magnificent west coast of Scotland!
