Description of the holiday cottage
A very warm welcome awaits you at Kersmains Cottage. Set apart on our family farm, just 3 miles from the cobbled town of Kelso, Kersmains Cottage is surrounded by stunning views of the Scottish Borders countryside. With extra facilities to allow you to bring your own horses, kennel your gundogs or store your fishing tackle, we aim to provide everyone with the perfect rural retreat. The cottage sleeps up to 6 people in 3 bedrooms, with enclosed garden, private parking and easy access to the surrounding Scottish Borders, Edinburgh and the Berwickshire-Northumberland coastline. Your welcome hamper includes eggs laid daily by our own hens, and our very own award-winning Borders Pantry jam which we supply to local shops! Kersmains Cottage is a beautiful base from which to explore all the Scottish Borders has to offer. With wildlife a plenty, stunning riverside walks next to the farm and the most spectacular views, you won't be disappointed! The cottage itself has been fully renovated, and with 3 spacious bedrooms, a large country kitchen, gorgeous dining room and of course the log burning stove, you will really feel at home here.

What an amazing stay! We thoroughly enjoyed our break to the Bothy B n B. We were very warmly welcomed and were very happy with the standard of the accommodation. We were quite surprised at the amount of space we had to ourselves! Sitting out on the patio overlooking the lovely garden was wonderful. We have already recommended the Bothy B n B to friends and colleagues – we certainly plan on returning too! |

I stayed in the bothy which was absolutely beautiful and very spacious. Ashley and Simon could not have been nicer and I cannot recommend this place highly enough. I will definitely be back and may even take my horse sometime as they welcome our four legged friends too. A very enjoyable experience and one I hope to repeat soon thanks again Bryan |

Just home from a lovely 4 night break in this gorgeous cottage! The cottage is out of this world... The decor thought out is stunning, the house has everything you need for a relaxing holiday and it is in such a nice area. We only live an hour away but we seen this cottage online and couldn't resist it! Glad we chose here to spend new year. There was 4 adults and 2 young children and there was more than enough room, every room is spacious and beautiful, I can't fault the house at all and Ashley made us feel very welcome :-) will definitely be back x |

Great cottage with superb views. Very nice garden for the kids to play. The whole house and especially the kitchen was very well equipped. Ashley and Simon are very helpfull and friendly. Perfect place to stay with kids. |

Great accommodation - far bigger than it looks on the website. Easily accommodates 6 people. Brilliant kitchen facilities - with large cooker, freezer, drying area. Master bedroom has a king sized bed. Huge walk in shower on the ground floor and a lovely deep bath upstairs with a view of the stars!!! Would definatley recommend it, very close to Kelso and easy access to Berwick, Melrose, Coldstream - even managed Edinburgh in a hour. |

Wow what can I say! The house the place was just fab. My girls loved the animals the hens and the best part was the tractor ride. You made us feel at home, it was really fantastic; we just had an amazing break and holiday. If anyone wants a reference please give them my details and I be more them happy to speak to them. People what are you waiting for book this house it’s just great, Ashley and Simon were a pleasure to meet such great people.
