This is an absolutely stunning house with everything you need for a very comfortable holiday. We enjoyed everything about it in 2015 and have booked for August 2017 and cant wait for our holiday there. If you want comfort, quiet and beautiful scenery, then this is the place for you. Almost every room has a spectacular view of the 'Old Man of Coniston' mountain and Coniston Lake and there is also a little stream at the bottom of the garden. The games room is also spectacular, with everything you need to fill in your time, including it's own kitchen, complete with fridge and a barbecue. Anyone would enjoy this beautiful property and it's surroundings.

We needed a rest and Shepherd's Nook was the perfect place. The weather was good and we went walking but we would have been just as happy snuggling up by the aga reading. Wow the aga thought they were just a gimmick, cooked some very tasty food and a cake!
