Cottage Review:

Stunning house in a beautiful location! The house is well equipped and very comfortable indeed. Paul and Karen could not make you feel more welcome and really go the extra mile to make sure you have a great stay. From fresh flowers on the table, to a welcome hamper (plus essentials in the fridge too) with the most amazing Parkin made by Paul and delicious sourdough bread (probably also made by Paul).

The rooms are all immaculate and really well presented, with the most beautiful bed linen and the biggest beds we've ever slept in - so comfortable! There is also a really good sized bath in the main bathroom which is perfect after you've been on a cold, windy walk (which you expect in January to be fair).

We got regular top ups of fuel for the fire which was brilliant as the weather wasn't the best, so we got to sit in front of the gorgeous burner on an evening which was so cosy.

There is a good sized Spar shop in Sedbergh, which is about a 10 minute drive away for any essentials and we can recommend the Haddock Paddock fish & chip shop too. We'd also recommend a walk to Cautley Spout as it's gorgeous there.

We will definitely be back again and can not recommend Roger Pot enough. If you get the chance to go, do it, you won't be disappointed.
