| Cottage Review:
We took this house for a 4-day stay in Keswick. It is centrally located and is very near the High Street, lake and shops - a few minutes walk. However the house is very tired and desperately needs new mattresses and sofas as well as a more general update / refurb including getting windows (currently single glazed) that don?t rattle during the night. When we first arrived, the house hadn?t been fully cleaned with old Maltesers found in the living room and pieces of jigsaw lying around. It is road side parking for the property which was sometimes a challenge |

| Cottage Review:
A beautiful looking house, but within a couple of hours of arrival we found that one of the single beds was broken. We could not report it that evening as it was not an emergency. We were a party of adult women, that night one guest was trapped in the bathroom by a faulty lock for 30 minutes, the next morning the fitting to turn off the shower came off. We spent an hour on the phone trying to report the faults, turned off the water until the fitting could be replaced - the implication of the email I received today was that no one will every know if the be |
