We booked this cottage with cottages4you and it definitely did not merit the 4 star rating given.
We had lots of issues regarding the cleanliness of the house, the lack of basics like bin bags and light bulbs missing and the attitude of the owner who said we could have a refund when the boiler broke and we were without heat and hot water and then refused to do this when we returned home.
We also advised her about dangerous problems with the calor gas cooker which had already been mentioned twice in the visitors book but which she said she knew nothing about. She never resolved that problem. With so many other options for places to stay in the area we would strongly recommend that this house is avoided at all costs.
