Description of the cottage holiday
How Head House overlooks Coniston Water with a backdrop of high fell and mountain. Set in the heart of the lake district, How Head lies near the north east shores of Coniston Water, offering easy access to the many areas of shoreline open to the the public, along with excellent walks and a nearby village. The views across to the lake give a panoramic picture of the Coniston mountain range and the mighty 'Old Man' rising above and reflecting in the lake. It is a pleasure to simply watch as its craggy slopes change in hue and colour with the time of day, weather and season.Sleeps: 8

| Cottage Review:
This is an absolutely stunning house with everything you need for a very comfortable holiday. We enjoyed everything about it in 2015 and have booked for August 2017 and cant wait for our holiday there. If you want comfort, quiet and beautiful scenery, then this is the place for you. Almost every room has a spectacular view of the 'Old Man of Coniston' mountain and Coniston Lake and there is also a little stream at the bottom of the garden. The games room is also spectacular, with everything you need to fill in your time, including it's own kitchen, complete with fridge and a barbecue. Anyone would enjoy this beautiful property and it's surroundings. |
