Description of the cottage holiday
If your idea of the perfect Lake District holiday is to have a true retreat set against a backdrop of high fell, then Shepherds Nook in the Kentmere Valley may well be for you. The Kentmere valley runs north from the village of Staveley, parallel to the Troutbeck valley. It is a most protected and unspoiled area of natural beauty, and though popular with true walkers, remains peaceful.Sleeps: 2

| Cottage Review:
We needed a rest and Shepherd's Nook was the perfect place. The weather was good and we went walking but we would have been just as happy snuggling up by the aga reading. Wow the aga thought they were just a gimmick, cooked some very tasty food and a cake! The cottage homely and arty. We loved it when can we move in? |
