Wassail Cottage is a pretty three bedroom holiday cottage in Stoke Gabriel in South Devon that offers one double bedroom, one twin and one single bedroom and is child friendly, set in a rural location in the pretty and popular tourist village of Stoke Gabriel. Wassail Cottage is a family self catering holiday cottage that is one and a half miles from Stoke Gabriel, a smart, stylish cottage in a row of four cleverly converted from a Grade II listed cider barn. A little brook runs along the back and the cottages have pretty views over neighbouring orchards (apples, geese, chickens, pheasants); cider is still made and sold locally. Own neat gravelled garden at the front and small, private, partly covered, enclosed courtyard (table/chairs) at the back, ideal for outdoor dining with the sound of the brook over the wall. Inside Wassail Cottage near Stoke Gabriel, original beams and large circular stone pillars are complemented by fresh modern decor and oak floors downstairs. Hall (space for coats/boots, dogs); ground-floor loo; spacious open-plan living/dining/kitchen (dishwasher, washer-drier, microwave, fridge-freezer, electric oven/gas hob) with TV/DVD, iPod dock and door to sheltered rear courtyard. Stairs (stairgates) up to three bedrooms (carpeted), all with pretty orchard views including a double with en suite shower-room (suite), a neat single, and a twin with antique brass beds; shower-room (suite).
