Description of the self catering property
This former Victorian powerhouse offers light, airy and stylish and unusual accommodation for up to 10 people. This is a superb conversion of a former Victorian powerhouse, just 800 yards from the sandy beach in Skinningrove. Skilfully restored, the property has many fine, original features. The entrance hall has a magnificent staircase leading to a galleried landing with a leaded glass dome, and the relaxing sitting room has beautiful arched windows with sea views and a cast iron fireplace. The kitchen is modern and well equipped with a generous dining area, and the bathroom with its roll top bath entices the guests to have a luxurious soak at the end of the day. The four bedrooms exude character with exposed beams, quirky windows, and sumptuous d?cor; two of the rooms enjoy en-suite facilities. A shared enclosed lawn and courtyard can be enjoyed outside.

| Cottage Review:
Very disappointed. The place could be beautiful but it is tired dated and unloved. It was filthy with black mould and plaster feeling off the bedroom walls. The sauna was only like warm and the hot tub was ready about 4 hours after we arrived The nearby beech was beautiful |

| Make up of party: It was a group of 11 women we meet up every year and have done so for over 30 years and this is the 1st time we ve been unhappy with a property Because we were travelling from different parts of the country and there was 11 of us we had no choice but to stay | |||||||||||||||||||||
