Grubby cottage and dated decor
Freezing cold even with heaters on 24/7
Muddy tap water, no hot water at times
NOT totally isolated at all!!

we did not think that only 2 stars implided that the place would be dirty, dusty, cobwebs, smell musty and moldy, have evidence of water damage. filthy appliances, uneven moving floor boards with torn lino, filthy Fridge that looked like it was going to fall through the floor, full of flies, and entry way was extremely difficult to navigate suitcases through, terribly uncomfortable beds, no hair dryer, only one dull knife in the kitchen, but i guess thats what the Scottish tourism board seal means your are getting. we expected a dated decore with old furnature
Because you have to pay upfront try have fun getting your money back if you want to leave early
also there is no telephone and no mobile coverage
