Description of the cottage holiday
This former early Victorian laundry has real charm. The south facing rooms get full sun and have a lovely rural outlook over the deer parks and the nearby woods. This spacious cottage is awaiting four-star accreditation by the Scottish tourist board. The upstairs is comprised of a king-size double bedroom and a twin bedroom. Downstairs there is a kitchen; fully fitted with dishwasher, sitting room with electric fire and large dining table, and bathroom with toilet, bath and shower. The cottage has oil central heating. We have 13 self-catering cottages nestled in the hills and woods of a lovely rural Estate in Southern Scotland between Lanark and Biggar. Graded 2 - 4 star Visitscotland. 200 year old, stonebuilt with character, all different, former Estate worker cottages. History and nature abound. Working farm producing beef, lamb and venison on sale in our farm shop. Pets welcome. Small private fishing lochan and private tennis court.Best Features
