Description of the self catering property
Totally isolated beside a stream at the front of Tinto Hill and close to the Eastend walled garden this attractive white washed cottage has peace and quiet guaranteed being over a mile from the public road. Accommodation comprises double bedded room and a twin bedded room upstairs with shower over bath below. Large fitted kitchen/dining room with antique stove and modern equipment, freezer, dishwasher, microwave. Large lounge with log fire. A wooden deck or terrace on the south side of the cottage faces the sun and the view of Tinto Hill. We have 13 self-catering cottages nestled in the hills and woods of a lovely rural Estate in Southern Scotland between Lanark and Biggar. Graded 2 - 4 star Visitscotland. 200 year old, stonebuilt with character, all different, former Estate worker cottages. History and nature abound. Working farm producing beef, lamb and venison on sale in our farm shop. Pets welcome. Small private fishing lochan and private tennis court.Best Features
