Description of the cottage holiday
This cottage adjoins Westmains House, sitting beside the old stone 'doocot' with views of Tinto Hill. Accommodation comprises 2 bedrooms, bathroom. Kitchen. Lounge/dining room and hall. One bedroom has a double bed and the other a single and a 3/4 bed. The fully tiled bathroom has bath with electric shower. We have 13 self-catering cottages nestled in the hills and woods of a lovely rural Estate in Southern Scotland between Lanark and Biggar. Graded 2 - 4 star Visitscotland. 200 year old, stonebuilt with character, all different, former Estate worker cottages. History and nature abound. Working farm producing beef, lamb and venison on sale in our farm shop. Pets welcome. Small private fishing lochan and private tennis court.Best Features
