Description of the holiday cottage
In the centre of the Estate, this attractive cottage was formerly the Butler's cottage for the now ruined Carmichael mansion house. Accommodation comprises 2 bedrooms, kitchen/dining area, lounge and hall. One bedroom has a queen-sized bed, the other has 2 singles. The bathroom has a bath and shower. The cottage is on one level. We have 13 self-catering cottages nestled in the hills and woods of a lovely rural Estate in Southern Scotland between Lanark and Biggar. Graded 2 - 4 star Visitscotland. 200 year old, stonebuilt with character, all different, former Estate worker cottages. History and nature abound. Working farm producing beef, lamb and venison on sale in our farm shop. Pets welcome. Small private fishing lochan and private tennis court.Best Features
