Description of the cottage holiday
This 250 year old cosy cottage with a surrounding garden was formerly one of a pair of gate cottages on the old main road. It offers spectacular views of the surrounding countryside and Tinto Hill. Parking is by the door. The lounge/dining room has a hatch into a compact galley kitchen whilst the bedroom has ensuite shower but no bath. We have 13 self-catering cottages nestled in the hills and woods of a lovely rural Estate in Southern Scotland between Lanark and Biggar. Graded 2 - 4 star Visitscotland. 200 year old, stonebuilt with character, all different, former Estate worker cottages. History and nature abound. Working farm producing beef, lamb and venison on sale in our farm shop. Pets welcome. Small private fishing lochan and private tennis court.Best Features
