Description of the cottage holiday

Yondhill Barn is a 3 bedroom holiday cottage in the village of Sampford Courtenay on the northern edge of Dartmoor in Devon. Yondhill Barn is a holiday house that has been converted from a farm barn with an open plan style with a range of modern features and retains the character of the original building. Yondhill Barn is designed in an open plan style and sleeps eight people. The lounge area has two very large sofas that focus on the modern flatscreen TV and the wood burner to the side. To the rear of the living area is the open plan dining area with a large table that seats 8 people. Behind that is the modern kitchen with a double size range cooker along with a fridge freezer, dishwasher and microwave with numerous storage units for food and utensils that make it easy to prepare and serve food for the family. There is also a double bedroom on this floor with its own ensuite shower room that is accessed through double doors and has a modern walk-in shower unit with a contemporary designed sink and WC. Take the stairs down to the lower floor at Yondhill Barn in Sampford Courtenay that leads to an additional two bedrooms, both of these bedrooms have their own TVs. There is a double bedroom that also has its own ensuite shower room, again with a contemporary and modern design. There is a family bedroom that has two single beds and an additional day bed that converts into a double if this is required. There is also a family bathroom with a modern bath and a separate shower unit, wash hand basin and WC. An additional utility room has the washing machine and sink.

Outside at Yondhill Barn, there is a gravelled area with outdoor furniture including table, chairs and a parasol that enjoy wonderful views through the trees to the village as well as an additional terraced lawn area.
