Tamarisk is a modern and detached, single-storey house with superb panoramic views over Bigbury Bay and Burgh Island.
Large sea-facing paved terrace, brilliant for enjoying those timewasting views, refreshing sea breezes and stunning sunsets, and lawn; below, another good-sized lawn and shed for surfboards/beach gear. Inside Tamarisk in Bigbury there is a fresh seaside theme, fun fabrics, oak or tiled floors (rugs) throughout. From gently sloping drive, level path and 2 steps up to terrace (alternative entrance via gentle slope with handrail down from rear gate to back lane) to door to hall; bright open-plan kitchen/dining room (dishwasher, fridge-freezer, microwave, iPod dock) with big glazed doors to terrace (table/chairs, barbecue, steps down to drive and shed). Living room (TV/DVD/Blu-ray/PVR, woodburner, sofa bed for alternative sleeping) opening to sunroom (sofas/chairs, high glass ceilings) with those superb views and more glazed doors to terrace.
Tamarisk has three smart bedrooms including a double (low 5 foot bed, TV/DVD) and a twin, each with en suite shower-room (suite), and a smallish double (5 foot bed, limited space around the bed) with en suite bathroom (suite, shower over bath plus hand-shower). Cloakroom (loo); utility room (washer-drier, sink). A stunning spot with outstanding views.
