St Aubyn House near Newton Ferrers is high in farmland a mile from Noss Mayo and half a mile from the sea at Stoke (splendid cliffs, Coast Path, cove beach), a smart, three-storey, 'upside down' cottage, mid-row amongst a number of cottages well converted from Grade II listed farm buildings. The cottages at St Aubyn House near Noss Mayo share a on and a half acre garden (barbecue, picnic table, dogs permitted on leads), games/laundry room (table tennis, darts, washing machine, tumble drier - extra), courtyards and hard tennis court. Inside, stylish and contemporary with quality furnishings and fabrics, painted beams and interesting artwork. Door from shared inner courtyard to hall (for coats/boots). There are three ground-floor bedrooms at St Aubyn House in Noss Mayo including a double (footboard), and two twin (one zip-linkable to 6 foot double, the other with limited clothes-hanging space); bathroom (suite, shower over bath). Stairs up to open-plan living/dining room with long oak table, big sofas, TV/DVD, iPod dock, electric living flame fire and neatly fitted galley-style kitchen area (dishwasher, washing machine, microwave). Further stairs up to second floor and the enormous master bedroom (6 foot bed, TV/DVD, sofa bed for alternative sleeping) with en suite bathroom (suite with separate shower), both with Velux windows, some sloping ceilings/beams. Two stairgates available. Good quality, stylish and comfortable, well suited for one or two families to share.Sleeps: 8
