Description of the cottage holiday
Maple Barn holiday copttage is one and a half miles from East Allington along a no through road, on an organic 300 acre sheep/beef farm which you are welcome to wander, four well-thought-through cottages converted from handsome Victorian barns, with ample parking: upside-down semi-detached cottage. Open-ended games barn (table tennis, table football, swings, climbing frame, trampoline). Foot and bridlepaths from the farm to the beautiful wooded river Avon valley, so excellent walking country and a central location for coast and Dartmoor. Maple Barn near East Allington has an entrance via own gravelled patio into generously proportioned open-plan living/dining/fitted kitchen (dishwasher, washer-drier, microwave, fridge-freezer) with woodburner, TV/DVD, wood floor (rugs), beams and large windows with meadow views. Stairs (stairgate) down to two bedrooms including a double with 5 foot four-poster bed, en suite shower-room (suite) and glazed doors to courtyard, and a twin; bathroom (suite, shower over bath).Sleeps: 4
