Description of the holiday cottage
Lot Cottage in Lydford is a one bedroom romantic holiday cottage, perfect for couples in Lydford in Devon. Lot Cottage is centrally located in this wonderful village and close to a great pub and Lydford Castle, a sturdy granite-built former shippen transformed into a cosy and comfortable, detached cottage. At the side, small sitting-out area (table/chairs, barbecue), partly covered and positioned to enjoy the afternoon sun. Inside, much natural wood (beams, oak floors/doors) blends well with modern furnishings to create a smart rustic feel. To the front of Lot Cottage in Lydford there is a little cobbled forecourt with 10 steps up to enclosed sitting-out area and front door; open-plan living/dining/kitchen, cleverly arranged to make the most of the space and the beamed apex ceiling, with woodburner, TV/DVD and granite-topped corner kitchen units (washer-drier). Stairs down into double bedroom with smart en suite shower-room (wet-room suite) and door opening to front forecourt (ideal for loading/unloading). Lot Cottage is a great holiday cottage for couples in Lydford, perfect for two in a handy, central village location in a good walking area. No children, except pre-crawling babies.Sleeps: 2
