Beech Cottage is an attractive stone barn conversion, nestling among the peace and tranquility of the Blackdown Hills. Just 5 miles away is the historic market town of Honiton, the cottage is a haven for anyone who is seeking a quiet, rural retreat to get away from the rigours of modern city life. The cottage is positioned in a private setting adjacent to the owner' property and offers exceptionally comfortable accommodation, being furnished to a very high standard. A door leads into an attractive, well equipped country style kitchen/diner featuring dark oak units with modern integrated appliances, finished with very stylish 'Corian' worktops. The oak beams in the spacious lounge offer a reminder of the original structure of this beautiful barn, where guests have use of their own private patio complete with garden furniture. Oak open tread stairs lead to two spacious bedrooms, dressed with crisp white Egyptian cottage bed linen, oak floors and furniture. For those with enough energy, there is a tennis court with equipment provided and a number of footpaths close by to explore the fantastic scenery of the Blackdown Hills. Once famous for lace and pottery, Honiton is now renowned as the main centre in the West Country for antiques and antiquarian books, and is a magnet for antique dealers and bargain hunters from all over the world.
