Description of the holiday cottage
Kyle Cottage was once the coachman’s lodgings for Whitehill House dating back to the early 1700’s. Kyle is situated on the ground floor level of the old coach house with Carrick above. Kyle is entered through the original stone archway into the kitchen/ living room. The cottage has a light, spacious feel, with country style kitchen, wood burning (squirrel) stove and original fire place. A corridor takes you to the double and twin room each having a door opening onto the private patio overlooking a paddock. Kyle is fully planned to cater for wheelchair access with large walk-in wetroom. Full under-floor central heating, logs for log burning (Squirrel) stove, electricity, duvets, linen and towels are included.Best Features
Relax with the family in this character filled country cottage. In the winter relax by the roaring log fire, or in the summer sit in the garden and watch the wildlife in this rural oasis just 10 miles from Edinburgh.
