Everything was perfect, from the cottage\'s location to its comfortable and cosy facilities & equipment. We had a great time at the Granary,quiet and relaxing,and enjoyed its ideal location to reach all parts of Orkney.Very helpful and kind hosts who looked after us in the friendliest way.It will remain for us a memorable stay.

We stayed in The Granary and enjoyed the accommodation very much. We were pleased with the high standard of decor and facilities throughout. We were warm and comfortable; we had a bathroom each, one of which was ensuite. The kitchen facilities suited us very well. We loved the location and the views and the close proximity to Kirkwall, where we could shop for local produce. We would book Greenfield Cottages again. This property is very well managed and good value for money.

I loved the Granary cottage I reserved, it had two good bedrooms (One Double ensuite, other twin beds) and felt very homely, exceptionally well appointed and clean as a whistle.

It's a nice walk in to Kirkwall down the shore front although no street lights towards the end of the shore when coming back at night.

I'm going to go back to see the charms of Orkney again and this is again where i will base myself.

Greenfield Cottage this is ideal for a single person or a couple. All the facilities were on hand and the location was very good. Picuresque and quiet but near enough Kirkwall for a night out.

Recommend the cottage whole heartedly

The renovated buildings are attractive on the outside and stylishly modernised internally to a high standard. Spacious and well equiped apartment. Although part of a complex of such apartments ours felt individual and as if it were the only one there, no noise at all even though the others were occupied. Just outside Kirkwall but still an easy 15 min walk, its the best of both, almost in town almost out in the country. We really enjoyed our stay and will revisit in the future. Owner is cheerful and helpful but leaves you in peace too to enjoy your break away.

Really nice little complex of cottages, very private, rural setting conveniently close to Kirkwall (approx. 15 min walk) and close to the shore. We were in Stables 2 - very clean, comfy and well equipped. Loads of hot water. Helpful owners.

We visited Orkney in July and found the cottages to be ideally located to see the island. The cottage facilities were excellent and the welcome pack was a bonus. We have already recommended it to friends and family.

The small complex of renovated farm buildings is set on the farthest edge of Kirkwall, out at the end of development. It's secluded, quiet, yet modern and utterly comfortable. Appreciated the outstanding hospitality of the hosts, and the comfortable pace at which life proceeds. A sound sleep every night, and good eating with local fare. I slept six nights there, and wished I could stay longer. The cottage had every furnishing I could want, including a complete kitchen. Cooked in all the time- only ate one meal out. A very pleasant walk into town, and so much great history around to visit. I would go back in an instant.
