Booked this apartment via the Internet from Australia. Linnhe apartment was all I hoped for and more. It is really well equipped, spotlessly clean and situated next to beautiful gardens is totally relaxing.

Cosy, very well equipped historic cottage in lovely surroundings. We made most of our meals from as elaborate as a roast to simple sandwiches for lunch. Really have everything one would need to survive. You can see the mountains from the windows, lovely walking trails in the area and very commutable to many surrounding points of interest. We travelled to Oban, Fort William and Inverary quite easily for days out. For us this was the perfect place.

This delightful cottage used to be a garage! Don't let that put you off booking it because it's been beautifully and very thoughtfully done and the end result is nothing like a garage. It is in the grounds of the owners home but out of site and private. From the moment we walked in we were VERY impressed. We had milk, fresh home bread and eggs. The chickens walk around outside! Very well equipped, a real "home from home" experience. Beds are low to floor due to slopping roofs, so maybe not ideal for the infirm. The log burner in the lounge was a real feature and logs were included. Electricity is by slot metre but we really didn't mind. There is under floor heating as well. We would strongly recommend this cottage. Good location for exploring Loch Lomond area. Frequent trains from Helensburgh into Glasgow which has great shops.

Perfectly situated close enough to Oban to be within easy reach but away from the noise and bustle in a lovely tranquil glen. Great for children - loads of freedom to explore and play in the hills and forests above the chalets. Good pub on site so you don't always have to cook for yourself and lovely scenery. Watch the wildlife from your window, catch up with a good book or spend time with the kids. Good for groups (book adjacent lodges) or share Cologin Farmhouse (sleeps up to 15).

A very accurately described cottage with fantastic views down the Clyde. Short of nothing in the way of equipment whether you are on your own or with a couple of children there is plenty to occupy yourselves with ,whether the weather is good or bad. Whatever you do use the local butchers if you are 'eating in' the produce is fresh and the Steak Pies to 'die for' !!! There is plenty to do both in and out the Cottage. There is hardly any traffic on the roads so make the effort to visit surrounding attractions and towns for instance Inveraray Castle and Jail both for young and old is terrific. If you are a Golfer Cowal Golf Club is terrific and the views breathtaking. Hope you enjoy your holiday at Strathspey Cottage as much as much as we did.

Good secluded position with minimal noise from nearby lodges. Distant view of loch. Adequate but smaller & less luxurious than the impression given by website images. No welcome pack and electricity extra!

Good location, friendly owners right next door. They even let themselves in when we were out to give us some Scottish pancakes!
Cottage very dated with a muddle of cheap second hand furniture, crockery, and utensils. Kitchen damp, tiny and inconvenient. Ground floor damp smell. The bath grouting was black with mould. 'Do' and 'don't' notices everywhere.
