Cottage Review:

Cosy, very well equipped historic cottage in lovely surroundings. We made most of our meals from as elaborate as a roast to simple sandwiches for lunch. Really have everything one would need to survive. You can see the mountains from the windows, lovely walking trails in the area and very commutable to many surrounding points of interest. We travelled to Oban, Fort William and Inverary quite easily for days out. For us this was the perfect place.

Stayed for 4 nights. Found it comfortable and spacious. Well equipped with plenty of utensils and crockery, iron and ironing board provided as well as a vacuum. Rooms had adequate lighting.

The owner was friendly and welcoming and had left a folder with local attractions enclosed as well as a clipping for a tourist attraction discount.

Surrounding area was peaceful and pleasant. The house was easy to find. The location was convenient for Oban.

Would maybe recommend taking own bottles of water as the tap water was quite peaty.

Only inconvience was the mirror wasn't close to any sockets for blow-drying hair.

The house is in a beautiful location with very nice walks from the door as well as a short drive away. When we were there the spring daffodils were in bloom and there were lambs in the adjacent fields. It was lovely to sit on the swing in the garden looking at the views. We were staying near friends whose little boy loved the treehouse and the garden (where toys were to be found all around). The apartment itself was very nice although a little bit small for our purposes - but the price was so attractive we can hardly complain. The owners were friendly and very helpful and provided a very useful folder of local information. We would come again with our young family but would book the slightly larger accommodation on offer.

Cottage Review: Found the 'house' on the internet and seemed to be at reasonable cost. Exceeded our expectations. A lot of thought and care has gone into equipping the 'cottage'. A place with hidden surprises - the Gardens are interesting, the bonus of tennis court etc. The eco-friendly atmosphere is a bonus too. The quality of the property is excellent.
