This delightful cottage used to be a garage! Don't let that put you off booking it because it's been beautifully and very thoughtfully done and the end result is nothing like a garage. It is in the grounds of the owners home but out of site and private. From the moment we walked in we were VERY impressed. We had milk, fresh home bread and eggs. The chickens walk around outside! Very well equipped, a real "home from home" experience. Beds are low to floor due to slopping roofs, so maybe not ideal for the infirm. The log burner in the lounge was a real feature and logs were included. Electricity is by slot metre but we really didn't mind. There is under floor heating as well. We would strongly recommend this cottage. Good location for exploring Loch Lomond area. Frequent trains from Helensburgh into Glasgow which has great shops.
