| Cottage Review:
The cottage is in a good location, close to the beach and shops and the cottage itself is average for a seaside holiday of this price. However we were very disappointed with several things within the cottage. The advert clearly states that the cottage can sleep 6 people, 1 person being on a sofa bed, which in actual fact was broken and unable to be used. It also claims that their is a washing machine, this also didn't work and with a young family was not acceptable. There was not enough towels provided for the guests and no spare bedding anywhere to change the beds incase of any accidents. Also there was not enough crockery for the amount of people staying in the cottage. When I contacted the owner with my concerns he told me I could go and buy more crockery and questioned why I hadn't taken enough clothes on holiday, and suggested I take my clothes to a laundrette and he would reimburse me on proof of receipt. A very generous offer, but as the laundrette was not close to the cottage and i did not intend to spend my holiday sitting in a laundrette, not the best solution! Overall I found the advert to be misleading and therefore was disappointed on arrival. |
