Langford Down Cottage has a snug living room with inglenook (woodburner) and TV/DVD; kitchen/dining room (dishwasher, microwave, oil-fired Rayburn for cosiness/hot water) with handmade units, low beam ; lobby with toys; utility room with washing machine, tumble drier, freezer; shower-room (suite). Stairs up to three bedrooms including a twin (zip-linkable to 6' double) leading through to a landing with childrens little twin bedroom, limited clothes-storage space and bathroom (suite), through to a double (5' bed) and steep spiral stone stairs back down to kitchen. Cottage Review:

Amazing cottage in beautiful surroundings. Rural location overlooking fields with a view of the sea from the barbecue area. 20 min stroll to slapton village where you will find a village shop and 2 pubs, we only experienced the Queens Head which was fabulous. 30 min stroll to slapton sands and slapton ley which is worth a visit. A visit to the start bay inn at torcross is a must beautiful outlook and amazing food. A 20 minute drive to Blackpool sands, although a pebble beach it has amazing views and is a lovely drive. A dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer were advertised but the isolator switch was not accessible, so had to wash up!! Also due to there being no wifi and mobile phone reception I think an emergency calls only telephone is required as if an emergency arises you are unable to make a call. All in all a fabulous holiday with lovely weather, would definitely return.

Make up of party:  Family - 2 adults and a 10 year old boy
Cleanliness: good Location: exceptional
