| Cottage Review:
On the last evening of my stay, the battery in the fire alarm squawked very loudly every few minutes. It was impossible to muffle the very loud noise. The property manager was unable to provide a solution to the problem by 10 pm. I packed up & had to find alternative accommodation. Some of the storage heaters are antiques. The front door is peeling paint. I could not get hot water out of the kitchenette tap. 4 wasps appeared inside the house overnight, even though the windows had never been opened, and the single external door kept closed. I consider this property overpriced for what it offers. And have concerns for the system of getting support from the owners, the National Trust for Scotland. VERY DISAPPOINTED. |
