I was really impressed with this cottage and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone. This cottage exceeded all my expectations. It was very clean and very comfortable, indeed the beds are more comfy than I'm used to at home.
The welcome I received would take some beating. I arrived to find a roaring coal fire in the living room and a chilled bottle of Jacob's Creek in the kitchen.
I stayed for three nights but that wasn't nearly enough time to explore the area. Gardenstown is a lovely little fishing village, typical of many such villages in that part of the coast. The village is ideal if you're looking for a relaxing break. The pace of life in the village is so relaxed. So much so that I never passed a stranger who didn't say hello.
