| Cottage Review:
Sykes cottages have decided not to publish my review - they only publish generally favourable reviews. There was loads to like about this large, detached house - Fabulous views, great location & plenty of room - However, for the price we expected a bit more - Nice welcome pack - it was a real shame that the cleaning wasn?t really up to scratch - lots of cobwebs in the downstairs bedroom, this area looked like the poor relation - the ?wardrobe? was broken - the downstairs cloakroom had the loo roll holder broken and left in a cupboard - also cobwebby in here - Kitchen was a fantastic size but one of the bench seats was held together by a homemade repair & we were worried about it falling apart - the oven was literally thick with black grease on the bottom - appliances ie hob & extractor were very hit & miss touch wise & probably need replacing - a huge shed in the back garden had it?s missing roof piled outside the back door, very unsightly - The cost of the property to rent ought to come with a decent level of maintenance & Tullochgorm fell short in that aspect |
