Cottage Review:

This is such a cute, comfortable cottage. We booked it on the net and did not know what to expect but absolutely loved it. Best views, loved the remoteness, hiking, everything. Would love to go again. Worth travelling from Australia.

Cottage Review:

we have stayed at Torran cottage 3 times and are booked to return fro a 4th. the cottage is spotlessly clean , very cosy - when the fire is on and well equipped. How anyone can say otherwise is beyond belief.

Cottage Review:

I felt compelled to answer the previous reviewer. Having read that review we arrived fearing the worst. The cottage was not dirty or damp and did not smell. The beds were comfortable. The fixtures were rustic, and not brand new, but entirely consistent with most highland cottages and very homely. The cottage is 3 miles from the road. It is extremely isolated, but warm, cosy and welcoming after a day in the hills. The views , wildife and location are spectacular. The only complaint we had was the amount of midges, but that is what Scotland in August entails. Felt the previous review was unfair. NO TV! We did this with an eight year old and a six year old, who LOVED not having the box in the cottage. Fantastic location, very poor property, cold damp and dirty, fixtures and fittings dated uncomfortable beds and poor heating.

Bathroom unventilated, rear bedroom stinks of damp.
