| Cottage Review:
Thirley Beck Lodge is on a working farm, the perfect place for a relaxing holiday. Lovely touches, fresh eggs from hens, biscuits, milk even fresh wild flowers on table to welcome you. Good sized fridge with separate freezer both integrated, full sized cooker, foreman grill even a washing machine! Bed really comfy, shower was amazing, really powerful. Lodge sits in its own grounds, very peaceful only noises of the countryside, lovely sitting on outside patio area watching the sun go down, enjoying the antics of the baby lambs and abundant bird life. Nice walks from the lodge, 15 minute drive from Scarborough. A good central location. Hayley was the perfect host, not intrusive but there is you needed her. Can't wait for a return trip. |

| Cottage Review:
A very comfortable lodge on a working farm - sheep, cows, hens and horses. Our two small dogs enjoyed the secure outdoor space (but larger ones could jump the fence), Haley (the farmer) had thought of everything to make our stay comfortable. Would have been useful to know that the sofa turns into a bed. Very impressed by the cleanliness of East Coast beaches. Lots of well signed footpaths from the farm (watch out for curious cows and their bull) and glorious woodland walks along old train lines from Grosland to Goathland |
