Description of the cottage holiday
The Woodshed holiday cottage overlooks the Killerton estate and is situated at the edge of Upton Pyne in East Devon and has two bedrooms and sleeps 4 people. The Woodshed is a rural holiday home in East Devon and yet is ideally located for a range of activities, not least exploring Killerton House or trips to the cathedral city of Exeter. With superb views over the farmland and out towards the ex-Valley, The Woodshed has also been superbly renovated with bags of character. The kitchen and dining area at The Woodshed are great examples of this with full use of open beams in the construction and design, exposed brick and stone walls also highlight the character of this beautifully renovated holiday home. There is a kitchen island with a slate top and plenty of drawer space, set to the side of a modern fridge. There is also a stylish electric oven with gas hob in the corner with the sunken Belfast sink to the side, a dishwasher and a microwave are also available. Upstairs at The Woodshed in Upton Pyne, there is a large sofa and an additional sofas seat set to the side of the wood burner and the flatscreen TV, there are also French doors that open out onto the balcony allowing you to take in the superb views of the East Devon countryside. There are two bedrooms including a well presented double bedroom and an additional twin bedroom with a shower room that has a walk-in shower, wash hand basin and WC.Best Features
With share gardens view to enjoy as well as a sitting out area complete with table and chairs, this is a holiday cottage that enjoys the peace and quiet of these Devonshire countryside and the fantastic views that come with it. A great location that is not on the tourist track, perfect was visiting Exeter and Killerton house.
