I made a booking in June 2020 for a large group of us to stay for my daughters wedding when attending in August 2021. The booking has been made for 8 months now and I have just received a brief blunt message from Edward stating that due to Covid restrictions being lifted he can now get premium prices for the week or more so will no longer be honouring my booking. I find this very unprofessional and unreliable. I wasn?t even offered an apology in the initial message. ( I had a short apology when I said it was really disappointing) please just be aware that if you make this booking it is possible it could be cancelled should the host receive a better offer. I appreciate times are hard in light of covid but this was not a booking given at a reduced rate. My booking was for over ?1400 for two nights.

Lovely venue however the owners were annoying on the listing it says no loud music after 11pm -the owner came and asked us to lower the music and no noise after 10pm. They knew we was there for a birthday celebration -why rent out to parties if you have kids. The connecting doors were left unlocked and they could walk in whenever which was a little unnerving at night especially if there is children around

Just returned from a night with the family , it was a 30th birthday , there were 11 of us , all girls , we booked it and told we had the full house, we arrived to find out we only had part of the house , I think there were residents in the other half , at 5.30 pm , he approached 1 of our party and asked what time the noise was going to stop , then he emailed us at 10.55 and requested we stopped the music and the noise as they were going to bed !! We were all in bed by 11 pm , not very good to say they knew we were there to celebrate a 30th party , very cold house, window broken in one of bedrooms , we won?t be returning , Very very disappointed
