Had a lovely time at the wee barn. Stunning location and absolutely 5 star, unique accommodation. Spotlessly clean with a log burner to make the welcome "home" so cosy. We will definitely be back. |

The Wee Barn is ideally situated for trips to Ullapool north, or exploring all the stunning beaches and walks in the area which we?ve thoroughly enjoyed, and being February it?s quiet, with hardly a car on the single-track roads. The views over Little Lock Broom from the front are stunning, and you can watch the water Taxi from the off-grid settlement on the other side of the loch popping backwards and forwards. Although we had talked about visiting Scotland, I was merely searching the internet to get an idea of prices. Then I saw The Wee Barn, and I was in love. Ten minutes later I had booked a week in July. Prior to departure we had some good communications with Gael, the owner of the cabin, and we found the accommodation easily enough. Gael greeted us on arrival, explaining various things about the cabin, then left us to settle in.
