an early Victorian detached villa, 200 yards from the harbour in a quiet residential area of Torquay. Good sandy beaches, 10 minute walk. Shops and good restaurants, 2 minutes. Steep terraced garden (small pond/waterfall) and enclosed side garden with swing and sandpit. The house is approached by a steep drive.Sleeps: from 0 to 14

| Cottage Review: The house was lovely, spacious, well located and had everything we needed for a lovely weekend party with friends to celebrate my birthday, followed by a family holiday. The caretakers were helpful and friendly. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves and I would highly recommend the venue and the helpful holiday service. | |||||

| Cottage Review: It is very rare that I make the effort to give feedback of any sort but on this occasion feel I want to because the house, the support from Steve the caretaker and the location all worked so well. The Tudors is a great house for groups of people. We were a group of 4 families with children ranging from 2 – 10 and they loved it. There is space inside and a garden with a big sitting area when the weather is good. There is also a play room with table tennis and some other traditional games. Evenings were spent playing “competitive” table tennis! The house is well furnished with interesting bits of furniture and extensive kitchen “stuff” but not to the point that you feel you have to be on your best behaviour at all times! The town centre is within easy walking distance and there are many beaches that you can get to from The Tudors. Meadfoot beach you can walk to in about 10 mins with the children. We spent the week on the beaches and had 3 sit on canoes which we could not get the children out of! Steve the caretaker could not have been more helpful. He has extensive knowledge of the area and is really approachable. He went out of his way to take 2 very excited boys fishing 1 evening and they caught 4 fish! I would thoroughly recommend staying there is you want a fun and relaxed holiday | |||||
