Beautiful peaceful surroundings! We stayed in the Granary cottage which was gorgeous! Can't wait for our next stay- homemade cake was extra special touch! We initally booked a 2 night stay in June however due to a last family emergency we were unable to make it. Claire was very understanding and let us rebook with no extra charge. Thank you so much for a lovely stay. Cottage was very clean and modern bathroom with washing machine iron etc. Everything we needed! Great walks with lots of pheasants, sheep, cows and wild rabbits! | Cottage Review:
A beautiful place to stay. Nowlt only us the view to die for, the cottage is warm, comfortable, clean, tasteful and filled with all the little extras that you didn't know you'd forgotten like cling film and bubble bath. The owners are there for help but not overlooking or imposing in any way. It's quiet and safe, a little piece of heaven if you want to get away from it all! |

| Cottage Review:
A beautiful cottage tucked away at Ellingstring. The cottage was spotless and clean with everything you could want. Two double bedrooms, bathroom with roll top bath and double shower, kitchen/lounge/diner. A large enclosed secure garden for our puppy to run in. Tea, coffee sugar and a home made cake on arrival. Could have done with wi-fi. Plenty of places to visit and places to eat in the area. Would definitely stay here again. Only saw the owner Claire once but she on site if we had needed her. |

The only thing that prevents a comment perfection is "no wifi " there is 4G so not that big an issue This spacious clean well equipped Cottage is ideal for walkers or tourists to the area . Tucked away on private track with walks in every direction literally on your doorstep . Our hostess Claire was friendly but not intrusive. Masham, Ripon, leyburn all just a short drive away . The Cover bridge inn provides great meals. my wife and I took a leisurely walk (picturesque hour and half stroll) to have Sunday lunch . Plenty of wild life to observe as we |
