| Cottage Review:
Firstly let's start with the positive, the location is fantastic although and this was my mistake I did not notice that there are 40 steep steps leading up to the cottage which took the edge of the location and I would strongly suggest that this fact is highlighted at the beginning of the property description. However the biggest single issue with the cottage is the bedroom, the bed is only a 4ft 6ins when a 5ft one would have made it much more comfortable and there is room for one, the duvet was nothing special, the window blind was only any use from a privacy point of view and kept very little light out at sunrise, now the final straw was that there was only one pillow each which I have never ever come across before. The letting agent called us on the second day to see if all was OK and I told them about the lack of pillows to which they said they would contact the owners and ask them to call us but we heard nothing. So the sleeping arrangements really spoilt the stay. I would also suggest that whilst the sofa is adequate a slightly larger and more comfortable one would make the world of difference. |
