Cottage Review:
Cemaes bay has 2 lovely large beaches and a few pubs and shops. We experienced a nice holiday for our 3 family groups. The Old Coal Yard is a large spacious house with well equipped kitchen and plenty of beds. We all particularly liked that there was a large breakfast bar area to seat 8 in addition to a large table, also 2 fridges were adequate to store all our food. There was a nice hamper supplied on arrival. There were some issues on arrival though. Although the house was clean, one of the bedroom blinds was totally off the wall, one of the small tables had a leg detached and the curtain rail in games room was hanging off the wall and there were no oven gloves. These defects were rectified within half an hour after ringing the maintenance man whose contact number was in the house. The hob on top of the island was cracked and chipped in several areas and neither of the wine coolers worked, however we used a fridge. It would have been helpful to have been given house instructions for heating(as we had a couple of cold days), all the electric gadgets and refuse information(items to be recycled as all counties differ) but overall we enjoyed our week and recommend this property. |
