The Old Chequer in Draycott near Moreton in Marsh is a 2 bedroom traditional Cotswold stone holiday cottage that is grade 2 listed and a former pub that dates back to the 1600s. The Old Chequer in Draycott sleeps 4 people in a beautiful hamlet in the rural Cotswolds countryside and has a fantastic inglenook fireplace with a range of period features, restored to retain the full character of the building. There is a beautiful lounge at the Old Chequer with exposed beams throughout and a large inglenook fireplace with open fire, a window seat by the beautiful window with traditional flagstones throughout the flooring. There is a wonderful large and comfy sofa and two safer armchairs along with various tables, one of the most inviting lounges that you will have the pleasure of resting in. The kitchen is within a beamed room, again with traditional flagstone flooring and has an electric oven and induction hob, microwave and sink as well as dining table and chairs. There is a fridge freezer and washer dryer with a gas fire in a second inglenook in the dining area, French doors open out directly onto the enclosed garden area. Upstairs at the Old Chequer in Draycott you will find two gorgeous bedrooms including a master bedroom with a double bed that also has an ensuite shower room with a walk-in shower, wash hand basin and WC. There is a beautiful twin bedroom, oak beams throughout and exposed Cotswold stone walls with a pretty bookcase, this room also has a door to the large family bathroom with plenty of space and a bath and separate walk-in shower with wash hand basin and WC. Outside at the Old Chequer in Draycott there is a large garden, mostly laid to lawn with a small patio that also has table and chairs and umbrella, there is plenty of space to run around. There is an open brook that runs through the garden and thus, although children are welcome, they must be supervised when in the garden.
