As guests of The Lake House, you have the option to book a private chef and butler who will take care of your catering needs, pamper your pooch at the Dog Spa or extinguish the stress caused from the busy hum drum of work life by treating yourself to one of the many treatments at the Luxury Spa (which guests have free use of). As soon as you step outside on to the grounds, you will be spirited away by the fairy tale views of the estate lake and the magical woodlands surrounding you. The estate will provide you with plenty to do, both indoors and out, though if you fancy venturing to the nearby areas; Raithwaite Estate is situated between Whitby and Sandsend. As a holiday destination, Whitby really does have it all; dramatic cliffs and castle headland, award-winning beaches, historic harbour, great family attractions, booming town centre, huge choice of accommodation and a warm Yorkshire welcome to match. Located at the foot of Lythe Bank Sandsend is a picturesque village with cottages set against a backdrop of cliffs and two meandering streams, which lead to the sandy beach. When you enter Sandsend you cannot fail to be impressed by the magnificent sweep of the bay leading to the majestic ruins of Whitby Abbey in the distance.
